About
I am an artist and designer, my philosophy is shaped by my love of storytelling and decoration. My work is often inspired by my British, Indian and Caribbean heritage. Working from my home studio in between city and nature in Wiltshire, England.
My original artwork is predominately made on handmade cotton rag paper that is made in India. This beautiful paper has an imperfect deckled edge finish, which looks brilliant when float mounted in a frame. I chose this material to work on as it felt like another connection to my Indian heritage. I enjoy creating decorative and joyful works in Gouache, Acrylic and Inks that compliment the tactile nature of the paper.
