Kelly Jay Studio in Frames by Kirsty Erskine-Hill for Art for Charity Collective

In May 2024 I created 4 artworks for Art for Charity Collective where a percentage of all sales get donated to a variety of chairties throughout the year. I first worked with them in 2023 and took part in an online auction ran on Instagram by their founders including fellow artist Lucy Kent

For this collection they collaborated with Kirsty Erskine-Hill to create and paint bespoke frames for my pieces which was really special. Each frame was hand painted to compliment the pieces.

Kirsty Erskine-Hill is a decorative artist based in the Cotswolds. Kirsty hand paints homeware ranging from photograph frames to ottoman trays. Kirsty has a degree in Fine Art and a Masters degree in Art Psychotherapy - both of which help to influence her decorative designs.

Following twenty years experience in the art world, Kirsty’s new venture focusses solely on creating unique hand painted and hand crafted pieces for the home. Kirsty draws inspiration for her designs in her everyday life – in her walks, her home, her books and even patterns in her children’s clothes.  Her vision is that her work can add colour and interest into everyday living.

As an Art Psychotherapist and someone who is passionate about mental health, Kirsty sources some of her homeware pieces from a wonderful mental health charity which supports adults in the working environment - she then hand paints these with her unique designs. Kirsty donates 10% of sales from some of her product lines to a children's mental health charity. She worked there for several years as a therapist so recognises the important work they do in reaching children at a young age and engaging them in creative therapies.
